Experience
- Stan Lin, Ph.D. has over 43 years of leadership experience in both the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Following his retirement, he has served as a scientific consultant for several companies in China, Taiwan, and the United States.
- Dr. Lin has led various teams specializing in translational medicine across a variety of product modalities, and has extensive experience in advancing drug candidates through multiple stages of drug development. His leadership positions include Executive Vice President of CHO Pharmaceutical, a biotechnology company developing biologic products; Senior Vice President of Crown Biosciences, a reputable CRO; Chief Scientific Officer of Medicilon, a full-service drug discovery CRO; and Executive Director of the Development Center for Biotechnology in Taiwan.
- Prior to assuming senior management positions, Dr. Lin was an accomplished research leader and scientist at several major U.S. pharmaceutical companies, including Abbott Laboratories and Bayer USA.
Academic Background
- Dr. Lin earned his doctorate in Organic Chemistry from Indiana University Bloomington and completed his postdoctoral training at the University of California, Irvine. He has developed numerous clinical candidates that have advanced to late-stage clinical phases, obtained more than 85 patents, and published more than 75 peer-reviewed papers.
